NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

VARIANCE OR ADMINISTRATIVE DECISION FOR AGRICULTURAL USE

The Marengo Township Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on August 3, 2022, at 4:00 p.m., at the Township Hall, 14021 23 Mile Rd., Albion, MI 49224, to consider an application for variance request and zoning determination from PW MI CanRE Marengo LLC for the property at 22695 J Drive North, Marshall, MI 49068 seeking confirmation or administrative ruling that the property is zoned Agricultural and the existing greenhouse is an “Agricultural” structure as used in Section 2.04 of the Marengo Township Zoning Ordinance and is therefore exempt from the Michigan Building Code.

A copy of the application is available for inspection at the office of the Marengo Township Clerk, 14021 23 Mile Rd., Albion, MI 49224, and also will be available for inspection at the public hearing. Written comments on the application will be received by the Township at the Township Hall prior to the public hearing or at the public hearing. Oral comments may also be made at the public hearing.

Marengo will provide auxiliary aids or services to individuals with disabilities. Persons needing such services should contact the Clerk’s office by writing or calling the clerk not less than five (5) days before the public hearing.
