SPECIAL BOARD MEETING NOTICE
The Marengo Township Board will hold a Special Meeting on July 23, 2026, 7 pm, at the Township Hall, 14021 23 Mile Rd, Albion MI 49224, regarding taxes, positions, and policies.
DEPUTY TREASURER POSITION OPEN
Marengo Township is seeking interested individuals to serve as Deputy Treasurer for the township.
This is a paid, part-time position assisting the Township Treasurer with tax collection, financial record keeping, banking, and other treasury-related duties. Applicants should possess strong computer skills and preferably have experience in bookkeeping, finance, accounting, tax collection, or related administrative work.
Responsibilities include assisting during tax collection periods, maintaining accurate financial records, helping residents with tax-related inquiries, and attending training sessions and meetings as required.
