Scrap Tire Collection

Calhoun County will hold two free scrap tire collection events this fall. During the month of September, the first collection will be held in Marshall. To improve event efficiency, this  Marshall collection will require pre-registration. A second collection event will be held in Tekonsha in October.

This collection is limited to 10 passenger vehicle scrap tires per participant in the collection; commercial business and farm tires are not accepted. The rims must be removed, and tires need to be free of stones and mud. Participants must reside in Calhoun County, and they are asked to remain in their vehicles when they arrive. This collection is funded through an EGLE Scrap Tire Grant.
