MARENGO TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
SPECIAL LAND USE
Notice is hereby given that the Marengo Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on April 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., in the Township Hall, located at 14021 23 Mile Rd., Albion, Michigan, to hear citizens’ comments regarding a request for Special Land Use as follows:
Angela Maidment, VP of Corporate Real Estate & Legal Affairs for Estes Express Trucking, of Richmond Virginia, has requested to continue a previous Special Land Use in the CM – Commercial District for a Trucking Terminal facility with expanded building and on-site paved parking areas on parcel number 15-193-006-00, 187851 Michigan Avenue, and
A public hearing to receive public input and comment on the proposed Special Land Use is required by the Township Zoning Ordinance effective December 2019, and by the Michigan Zoning Enabling Act (Act 110 of 2006), as amended.
Information concerning the proposed Special Land Use request may be inspected at the Township offices Fridays between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. All interested persons are hereby invited to attend the public hearing and provide comment, express concerns or offer support. In lieu of personal appearance, you may submit written comments regarding concerns or support, to the Planning Commission at the Township offices, 14021 23 Mile Rd., Albion, MI, 49224-9508.
