Helix-Hiple 345kV Transmission Line
On July 10, 2025, the Michigan Public Service Commission approved Michigan Electric Transmission Company (METC) primary route. ITC, through its wholly owned subsidiary METC, will build the Michigan portion of the new Helix-Hiple transmission line, spanning approximately 55 miles from the Michigan/Indiana border in Branch County to the new Helix Substation in Calhoun County.
Impacted landowners will be contacted by Universal Field Services land consultants to acquire an easement for the electric transmission line. Land consultants can be reached by phone at 855-482-5787 and by email at ITCLRTP@ufsrw.com.
