ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS VACANCY

Marengo Township is seeking interested residents to serve on the Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA).  The Township Board appoints the interested residents to a 3-year term.

Marengo Township residents may submit  letter of interest to the Supervisor by mail or email.  Interest in serving must be in writing.  Include your vital background information.  The township has the right to refuse any or all inquiries.

MARENGO TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that the Marengo Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on January 8, 2025, at 6 p.m., in the Township Hall at 14021 23 Mile Rd., Albion, MI, to hear citizens’ comments regarding a request from Paige Marie Richmond to rezone the following parcel of land in the Township from CM Commercial to AG Agricultural: parcel number               15-230-021-00, also known as 14850 22 ½ Mile Road.

Information concerning the proposed rezoning of land may be inspected at the Township offices Fridays between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. In lieu of personal appearance, you may submit written comments regarding concerns or support, to the Marengo Planning Commission at 14021 23 Mile Rd., Albion, MI, 49224-9508.
